Review of the Tigre Delta tour from Buenos Aires, with boat views, empanadas, hotel pickup, costs, tips, and honest drawbacks.

“A fun filled tour! Carolina was organized and kept us going. We did the boat through the delta. Had a snack (lunch) at Tigre then off to the market. Although they show the smaller river boats on their ad, we were on a much larger ferry. At times I really didn’t think we would fit! We took the bus back to Buenos Aires. All in all a great way to see the delta and get out of the big city.”

“We took a taxi from Buenos Aires to Tigre, approx 1 hour, so leave plenty of time, especially during rush hour traffic. The trip was scenic, the boat was comfortable. We could not hear the commentary as we sat outside on desk. There are plenty of coffee and sandwich shops at the boat station. Totally recommend it.”

“Unique and memorable experience on the Tigre Delta. Was a personalized tour. Lautaro was a wonderful guide and passionate about island life. We learned a lot about the nature and history of the region. He even welcomed us into his family home to share coffee and snacks, which added light to our cold and dreary day. Such a different experience from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aries. Beautiful scenery through narrow tributaries not accessible by larger boats. Must do experience not to be missed! 6/5 stars!”

“The tour was advertised at 9.00 start time. I was told that I would be picked up at 8.40. At 8.50 still no pickup. They replied that pickup wails be between 8.40 and 9.10. Clear information would save a lot of worry. The boat trip was ok. Next stop the Market most shops closed on Monday. Then the Museum closed on Monday. Our final destination wine tasting one white and one red and tiny hard cheese that had been out a lot. They were the smallest tastings i have ever had ! In my option this tour should not be run on a Monday !”
