Then on our way to penguin island, captain noticed 2 humpback whales so slowed down and followed them for about 30-40 min so we could see them from about 50 ft and take pictures. Then reached penguin colony where we got 15-20 min picture time. On our way back, saw the whales again and captain again gave us ample time to enjoy the show the whales put up for us! That made…”

“Fabio was great. He was on time and if you have been on tours before there's always some confusion. 0 confusion for the whole day. You will get 15000 steps of walking. You will get wet if you do the boat ride. Bring extra clothes to change into after. They provide a huge dry bag so just show up with a day pack and it will stay dry. WIFI is pretty good in the main areas. Pack a lunch if you can.”

“I usually dismiss low reviews as bitter people, but I feel compelled to share our experience. Coming for the first time I didn’t want to disappoint my family so I decided this tour would be a good option. If you have a rental car you can make this easy drive from El Calafate. Your time at the glacier is all self guided. You can book your own boat tour. We spent a lot of money for a bid ride and a guide who didn’t share any information of interest. Don’t fall for this”
